With the Bahrain Grand Prix approaching, four F1 teams are rolling out updates to maximize their performance on the track. Leading the charge is Ferrari, implementing sweeping changes to the SF-25’s floor and rear wing. These modifications aim to improve the car’s overall performance regardless of the track.

Ferrari has overhauled its floor design, adding a longer swept section and extra strakes to enhance airflow dynamics. The diffuser has been reshaped for better airflow management, and a new rear winglet array aims to optimize rear balance and ride height adaptability.

Meanwhile, McLaren takes a more focused approach, tweaking the front brake duct winglets to improve airflow. This change is expected to enhance aerodynamics, particularly around the car’s floor and sidepods, potentially impacting its speed and handling.

Red Bull isn’t shying away from changes either, introducing a longer chord flap on the front wing. This adjustment grants them more flexibility in achieving optimal aerodynamic balance. Additionally, Red Bull has enhanced their cooling systems with larger louvres to better manage engine heat in Bahrain’s challenging conditions.

Haas is also focusing on cooling, preparing to introduce a larger rear cannon opening when necessary. This adaptation will help manage the high temperatures expected in Bahrain, ensuring their power units remain operational without overheating.
