According to Verstappen, a filming session involving drones was planned for the parade, but Horner allegedly did not want him to be involved in the filming. “How childish can you be?” Verstappen remarked to a Dutch publication, suggesting that Horner’s decision was akin to playground behavior. Despite having the opportunity to participate in the event, Verstappen chose to step back, finding Horner’s behavior unacceptable.
Christian Horner, however, refuted Verstappen’s claims, asserting that he had no control over the demonstration run arrangements.
